§1 Scope of application:
The house rules apply to Beim Benz - Das Hofbräu Zelt.
§ 2 General
2.1 | The right of admission at BENZ & CO. Festbetriebe GmbH is enforced by company representatives and, in particular, our security staff, who are authorized to implement these rules.
2.2 | These house rules ensure safety, order, and cleanliness throughout the beer tent.
2.3 | By entering the tent, every guest agrees to abide by these house rules and any additional regulations for a safe and organized environment.
2.4 | Instructions from authorized personnel, including our security staff, must be followed at all times. Guests who violate these rules may be removed from the premises. Additionally, a ban from the venue may be imposed. In such cases, no refunds for tokens or vouchers will be given.
2.5 | Individuals who pose a security risk or attempt to bypass entry control may be denied access to the tent.
2.6 | Every guest must behave in a way that does not disturb, endanger, or harm others.
2.7 | Entrances, exits, stairways, emergency exits, and escape routes must always remain clear. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the premises.
2.8 | Free earplugs for noise protection are available at the festival office.
§ 3 entry to the festival tent
3.1 | Bags larger than 12 inches x 12 inches x 4 inches (L x H x D) are not allowed inside the tent.
3.2 | Prohibited items:The following items are not allowed:
- Large or bulky objects, backpacks, suitcases, duffel bags, or similar items.
- Weapons or any dangerous objects.
- Poles or sticks of any kind.
- Aerosol cans, corrosive, flammable, or staining substances.
- Glass containers, cans, mugs, or any type of receptacle.
- Fireworks, torches, sparklers, or any pyrotechnic items.
- Air horns, vuvuzelas, or other noise-making devices.
- Laser pointers, photography, and video drones.
- Animals (except for assistance dogs, such as guide dogs for the blind).
- Alcoholic beverages, alcopops, drugs, or knockout drops.
- Racist, xenophobic, or extremist propaganda material, pepper spray, or related clothing.
3.3 | Entry is not permitted for the following individuals:
- Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Intoxicated individuals who are visibly heavily drunk.
- Persons seeking to enter for commercial purposes.
- Guests wearing inappropriate clothing (e.g., sweatpants, tracksuits, sportswear).
- Photographers, camera operators, or film crews without written permission from BENZ & CO. Festbetriebe GmbH.
3.4 | The legal requirements of the German Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) apply to all minors under 18.
- Children under 6 years old are not allowed inside the beer tent after 8:00 PM, even when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Minors under 16 years old may only enter when accompanied by a legal guardian.
- Guests aged 16 to 18 may only enter and stay in the tent if they carry a valid identification document (ID card or passport).
3.5 | Our security staff is authorized to conduct personal checks to ensure that guests are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol and are not carrying weapons or hazardous substances. This includes inspecting personal belongings such as bags, jackets, and backpacks.
3.6 | Bringing outside food and beverages into the tent is prohibited.
3.7 | Bringing banners, printed materials, newspapers, magazines, brochures, or similar promotional materials is only allowed with prior approval and written consent from BENZ & CO. Festbetriebe GmbH.
3.8 | By entering the beer tent, guests agree to the creation and publication of photographic and video recordings for informational and documentation purposes in print and audiovisual media. This consent is given free of charge and without time or geographic restrictions.
§ 4 Behavior in the party tent
4.1 | BENZ & CO. Festbetriebe GmbH reserves the right to remove guests from the tent, especially in the following cases:
- Dancing on tables.
- Throwing objects.
- Damaging property or fixtures.
- Climbing on stages, barriers, or furniture.
- Urinating outside designated restrooms.
- Entering restricted areas.
- Trading or illegally exchanging entry wristbands.
- Cannabis consumption.
- Bringing or placing stickers in the tent.
4.2 | Counterfeiting or producing fraudulent entry wristbands, tokens, or vouchers will be prosecuted under civil and criminal law.
4.3 | Taking glasses or beer mugs out of the beer tent is strictly prohibited.
4.4 | Expressing or displaying racist, discriminatory, or extremist views through gestures, speech, or material is strictly forbidden.
§ 5 Liability of guests
Each guest is responsible for any damage they cause. Any illegal activity will be prosecuted under both criminal and civil law.
§ 6 Organizer's Liability
BENZ & CO. Festbetriebe GmbH assumes no liability for damages to persons or property caused by third parties. Guests cannot claim compensation for such incidents. We are only liable for damages if they result from a violation of essential contractual obligations or from intentional or grossly negligent behavior by us, our legal representatives, or our agents. If an essential contractual obligation is violated due to slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damages. Essential contractual obligations are those necessary for the proper execution of the contract and upon which the guest relies. Any further liability for damages is excluded. Liability for harm to life, body, or health remains unaffected in accordance with legal regulations.
§ 7 Severability clause
If any provision of these house rules is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one that most closely aligns with its intended purpose.
